Growing up, my father would always tell me to give 100 percent in everything I did. He would say that GREAT EFFORT didn’t require a lot of skill or talent; just a large amount of “WANT TO.” As a child, I took those messages to heart. In high school I would train twice a day, before and after practice in hopes of increasing
my chances of realizing my dream of becoming a college football player.
